(A) Job Summary:
Generally, Assistant Manager, Admin shall assist General Manager on all administration matters.
(B) Essential Job Functions:
The Assistant Manager is responsible, but not limited to, the following:
Financial Reports
· Liaise with Asia-Pacific group companies and branch offices to prepare and summarize various monthly/quarterly management report.
· Initiate Asia-Pacific Headquarters financial projection and forecast: Award, Work in Progress, G&A, Other Income/Expense and Cash Flow
· Review current and past financial data and performance.
· Review complicated financial factors and develop a logical structure to support projections and forecasts.
· Review any supporting material to give a concise presentation.
· Coordinate Tokyo Head Office’s request.
· Initiate any material to satisfy various purposes as required.
· Report to Senior Manager and Management on monthly or required basis.
Corporate Planning
· Initiate Asia-Pacific Headquarters business strategy for Tokyo Head Office
· Incorporate information obtained from other departments, group companies and branch offices into the business plan.
· Develop presentation materials for Management.
Internal Control
· Coordinate all departments to satisfy an audit conducted by Tokyo Head Office
Other Corporate Tasks
· Prepare various documents for Board of Directors and Senior Management Meetings in Japan
· Review minutes for these meetings both in Japanese and English
· Analyse economic and market data from various resources
· Review civil/building project.
(C) Minimum Qualifications / Job Experience:
· A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
· At least 5 years of experienced in handling Financial Statement, taxation, and audit in Construction industry.
· English and Japanese language fluency is required.
(D) Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
· Excellent attitude to adopt yourself to difficulties, changes, and various requests.
· Excellent Microsoft Excel skill and ability to adopt yourself to any software and system to maintain financial data and to create financial reports.
· Strong skill in initiating a financial projection.
· Strong skill in analysing financial current and past data.
· Strong skill in organizing various resources of information.
· Strong ability to simplify complicated factors and give a logical presentation by a concise material.
· Strong Time Management in multiple tasks concurrently required.
· Strong skill in documentation
· Good ability to build up a long-term relationship with various stakeholders.
· Basic knowledge of commercial and construction contract law, ideally
· Excellent verbal and written communication skill in English and Japanese
· Require overseas business travel.
