The primary responsibility of the Stock Lending team is to offer day to day support for Stock Lending Desk in Asia.
The team acts in partnership with a wide variety of groups across the firm globally with daily interaction with the wider Operations teams, Technology, Legal and Compliance. Stock Lending Operations are heavily involved in new business initiatives and process improvement to streamline our support model.
Responsibilities:
- Interact with Business, Sales, Legal, Compliance and Technology teams to ensure that commercial opportunities can be facilitated under controlled conditions.
- Build, maintain and enhance client relationships with new and existing counterparts.
- Compile and analyze metrics to assess process efficiency & experience to identify and drive improvement.
- Work independently, or with team members and management, on strategic projects and process improvement initiatives to reduce risk and/or improve client service delivery.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree
- A minimum of 5 years of prior work experience in a stock loan operations (or at least trade support or equities middle office)
- Proficient to advanced skills with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
- Team player with positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to adapt quickly to a variety of industries and businesses
- Ability to self-direct, analyze and evaluate and form independent judgments
- Ability to effectively interact and build relationships with senior management and global stakeholders
- Commercially savvy with ability to exercise discretion with respect to highly confidential/sensitive information
- Integrity, ethical standards and sound judgment
