OnePeople.sg (OPSG) was launched in May 2007 to champion racial harmony initiatives in Singapore. OPSG works hand in hand with community partners, organisations and individuals to promote programmes and initiatives that foster deeper interaction, understanding and appreciation of our multi-ethnic and multi-religious community.
We are seeking dynamic individuals with a high level of initiative to join our team as:
PROGRAMME MANAGER
You will initiate and develop initiatives on public education, resource development and community engagement. You will also spearhead engagement and development of volunteers/facilitators as well as manage research/resource initiatives, workplace diversity and public communication efforts.
Key requirements:
v Degree with a year of relevant working experience
v Passion for inter-racial/inter-religious community development work
v Proven ability in conceptualizing and developing community outreach and capacity building programmes for community leaders, educators and/or youths in areas of intercultural/interfaith understanding, advocacy and cross-cultural engagement
v Experience preferably in:
- programme/event management, administration, evaluation and social media engagement
- developing relevant research/resource building initiatives and public communication efforts
- developing initiatives relating to workplace diversity
- curating facilitated conversations on community issues and engaging facilitators/volunteers
v Adaptable, strong interpersonal skills, analytical and objective-driven
v Ability to work well in teams yet competent in managing projects independently
