JOB OVERVIEW
The Global Citizen Education Group is looking for trainers to run leadership programs. Trainers should have at least 1 year relevant teaching experience in conducting student leadership or motivational or study skills programmes to students in Primary to JC level.
Leadership trainers should be familiar with Leadership models such as the 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens by Steven Covey and Practices of Exemplary Leadership by Kouzes and Posner. Leadership trainers should also be able to guide students through group facilitation, problem solving, conflict management and peer support skills.
Trainers will be conducting the lessons with materials provided by The Global Citizen Academy. This position is based in Singapore, and trainers are expected to travel to schools for on-site training programmes. The terms of engagement and remuneration will be on a per programme basis.
Trainers would work as a freelancer, should reside in Singapore and be MOE-eIRS certified trainers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct Leadership, Motivational or Study skills programmes in schools
- Work with up to 40 students to achieve programme objectives
- Be familiar with Convey leadership practices
- Perform the necessary administrative and operational work to effectively run the course
QUALIFICATIONS
- Any relevant Diploma or undergraduate program
- MOE-eIRS certified trainer
- Preferred 1 year of relevant teaching/ mentorship experience in leadership skills
- Good command of the English language, both written and verbal
- Strong communication skills
- Professional and able to work independently
- Passionate about teaching
