Job Description

1. Technology Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and implement a technology strategy aligned with the business goals.
  • Identify opportunities for technology innovation and growth in the company.
  • Oversee the development of a technology roadmap and ensure it is regularly updated.

2. IT Infrastructure Management:

  • Ensure the company's IT infrastructure is robust, secure, and scalable.
  • Manage IT vendors and contracts, negotiating cost-effective solutions.
  • Oversee the maintenance and upgrades of hardware and software systems.

3. Digital Transformation:

  • Lead digital transformation efforts to streamline business processes and improve customer experience.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage emerging technologies like AI, IoT, and blockchain.
  • Implement digital tools and platforms to enhance productivity and efficiency.

4. Project Management:

  • Manage technology projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Manage financial resources effectively, including budgets, forecasting, and resource allocation to support the company's strategic goals.
  • Mitigate risks and obstacles that may arise during project execution.

5. Data Analytics and Reporting:

  • Implement data analytics tools and processes to derive actionable insights from company data.
  • Utilize data to make informed decisions and optimize operations.

6. Innovation and Research:

  • Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and research within the organization.

7. Quality Assurance:

  • Implement quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability and performance of technology solutions.

8. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with various departments, including business development, marketing, technical teams, and legal, to ensure seamless communication and alignment with operational goals.

9. Team Management:

  • Lead and mentor a team of operational professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, excellence, and collaboration.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as COO or relevant role within sellside/buyside or technology platform
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and public speaking skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and change.
