RESPONSIBILITIES
Through our Active Ageing Centres, we engage the seniors within the clusters and support them by reaching out to understand their needs, curating programmes that cater to the needs of active seniors, and befriending isolated and vulnerable seniors.
As an Associate, Volunteer & Partnership, you will support the Senior Manager in executing the volunteer & partnership engagement strategy and annual work plans for the Active Ageing Centre.
The duties of an Associate, Volunteer & Partnership include:
- Support the annual volunteer engagement goals and targets
- Engage and maintain a collegial networking relationship with local grassroots’ organisations, corporations, health and educational institutions to develop collaborative volunteer projects
- Assist in the management of Volunteer Database for the AACs (including reports)
- Provide admin & logistical support for volunteers
- Administer volunteer satisfaction/engagement surveys
- Maintain a high standard of integrity, corporate governance and timely management and KPI reporting
- Support in the development of the volunteer playbook - ensure training, mentoring/coaching schemes are in place to support and empower volunteers (both individual and corporate)
- Contribute to the strategies and plans for the recruitment, retention and recognition of volunteers
- Support the organising of formal or informal recognition, reward programmes, and appreciation activities and events for the volunteers
- Work with the Corporate Communications team on highlighting volunteer contributions via website, social media platforms, and/or newsletters.
- A Diploma in Mass Communication or Marketing is preferred
- Possess 1 working experience in customer service, volunteer management or community support
- Has an interest/passion for working with seniors and people from diverse backgrounds
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in Google Suite Applications
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
