Responsibilities:
- Assist in coordinating and monitoring shipping activities
- Prepare shipping documentation such as invoices, packing lists, and shipping labels
- Ensure accurate and timely tracking of shipments
- Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and customers to ensure smooth shipping processes
- Handle shipping and receiving duties, including inspecting and verifying incoming and outgoing shipments
- Maintain accurate records of inventory and stock levels
- Assist in resolving any shipping-related issues or discrepancies
- Provide administrative support to the shipping department as needed
- Utilize computer skills and Microsoft Office applications to perform shipping-related tasks efficiently
Requirements:
- Secondary education or high school diploma
- 1-3 years of experience in shipping and logistics
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling shipping documentation
- Knowledge of shipping coordination and logistics processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to handle packages and operate shipping equipment
- Familiarity with local shipping regulations and procedures is a plus
