We are looking for a Finance Manager to manage the financial health of the group and to work closely with the Business Development, Sales and Operations team to drive the planning and budgeting process for effective forecasting and strategic analysis of both the local and international offices.
It is expected that the Finance manager will analyse business processes and performance to develop a forecast for local and overseas operations and expenditure and provide up-to-date performance outlook to determine areas for improvement and to implement strategies to increase revenue.
Responsibilities:
- Create the structure of the holding entity and the operating subsidiaries, ensuring that the holding company is insulated from the liabilities of the subsidiary
- Determine and implement the best practice for the financial organisation of the operating companies to ensure healthy and adequate cash-flow and funding to support on-going operations.
- Coordinate the consolidation of results across all the offices for reporting purposes and monthly and quarterly business review to support Management decision making
- Strategize the operating companies’ asset financing schemes
- Evaluate risks associated with governance, financial, operational, regulatory, and business continuity
- Advise on funding requirements and structure to drive and support business expansion and acquisitions, both locally and overseas.
- Ensure timely completion of accounting processes and generation of financial and management reports.
- Collect and analyse financial information that will build our narrative to position Eigen strongly with investors and assist with various investor events
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting and reporting standards, handle tax matters to optimize tax liabilities and deal with external auditors and regulatory bodies on accounting and tax matters
Experience & Qualifications:
- Hold at least a degree in Accountancy, ACCA, or equivalent.
- Possess a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
- Strong fundamental knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards and principles of governance, risks, and controls.
- Familiarity with economic, financial models, and governance topics.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, exhibiting a sense of urgency, initiative, prioritization, and meeting deadlines.
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, with advanced Excel skills.
