Responsibilities:
Payroll Administration:
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing, including collecting and verifying employee timekeeping records, calculating wages, and ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Collaborate with finance and accounting departments to reconcile payroll data and resolve any discrepancies.
- Stay up to date with payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements to ensure accurate payroll processing.
- Maintain accurate payroll records, including employee information, earnings, deductions, and taxes
Compensation Strategy:
- Develop and execute a competitive compensation strategy that ensures internal equity and external competitiveness.
- Conduct regular market research to stay abreast of industry trends and benchmarks.
- Collaborate with leadership to align compensation programs with organizational goals.
Salary Structure and Analysis:
- Design and maintain a structured and fair salary system.
- Analyze salary data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide recommendations for salary adjustments based on market conditions and internal factors.
Benefits Administration:
- Oversee the design and administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
- Evaluate and negotiate contracts with benefit providers to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality of services.
- Stay informed about regulatory changes and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Employee Communication:
- Communicate effectively with employees about compensation and benefits programs, ensuring transparency and understanding.
- Develop educational materials and conduct workshops to help employees make informed decisions about their benefits.
Performance Management:
- Integrate compensation and benefits programs with the performance management system.
- Work closely with HR and managers to link performance to rewards and recognition.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Utilize data analytics tools to generate insights into compensation and benefits trends.
- Prepare regular reports for leadership, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
Proven experience in HR with a focus on payroll administration and C&B.
Strong knowledge of payroll processing, systems,and employment laws.
Proficient in MS Office suite, including Excel and Word.
HR certification(s) such as IHRP or SHRM-CP are a plus.
