Senior Graphics Designer
We are looking for a Senior Graphic Designer who is well-versed in both print and digital media. You are meticulous and have a strong sense of graphic design fundamentals (layouts, typography, colours, form & composition.)
- Knowledge of digital graphics design is an asset.
- Able to work independently while also being a valuable team player.
Responsibilities:
- Brainstorm with the team to bring marketing and advertising campaigns to life (from conceptualisation to execution).
- Identify trending content/ topics that could be of interest to the Ministry’s target audiences, and propose suitable social media content to develop for the Ministry’s social media platforms
- To execute creative ideas and visuals for various print and digital collaterals according to branding guidelines.
- An advantage if you are able create illustration.
Qualifications/Skills:
1) Relevant professional experience and portfolio, with at least 3 years of experience
2) Experienced in Adobe Creative Cloud – including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
3) Adobe XD/Premier Pro and After Effects is a plus
4) Must understand and be able to comply and communicate brand identity & guidelines.
5) Good understanding of design elements, colour and composition, with a keen eye for aesthetic and seasonal trends.
6) Ability to conceptualise across a broad range of aesthetics and styles (e.g. animations/GIFs as well).
7) Good communication skills, ability to design and articulate your concepts well.
8) Ability to deliver a polished product with impeccable attention to detail.
9) Ability to learn and apply new knowledge and skills quickly in a fast-paced work environment.
10) Must be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines occasionally, including after office hours when necessary.
11) Must be dependable, positive, and open-minded, and be able to clearly communicate both verbally and visually
12) Passionate about social media channels, specifically Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.
