This integral position involves steering the ship of vessel management through the intricacies of contractual compliance, transparent communication, and meticulous financial reporting.
The Commercial Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the management of vessels and ensuring compliance with contractual terms, and the manager ensures timely financial reporting and budget control. You will facilitate communication between Technical Superintendents and vessel owners, maintaining a good working relationship. Additionally, you are responsible for implementing the company's management system, contributing to procedural development, and executing special tasks as directed by the Directors. Collaborating with teams, you will prepare and present budget proposals, monitors financial exposure, and plays a crucial role in promoting continual improvement efforts throughout the company.
Key Requirements:
- 3 years of proven managerial experience within the maritime industry in the areas of Commercial Management, Business Development or Key Account Management.
- Strong communications skills and commercial acumen.
- Presently based in Singapore.
