Full Job Description
- Perform the full range of automotive maintenance and repair;
- Diagnostic tests in accordance with standard procedures
- Carry out maintenance, repair, and overhaul work on vehicles,
- Ensuring minimum turnover time for scheduling repairs and inspections to meet workshop’s service standards and according to job order
- Notify team leader of unusual repair problems which will require major repair and replacement parts for recommendation
- Requisitions and pick up vehicles and equipment parts from the store to complete work assignment
- Practice safe and proper engineering practices in accordance with manufacturer or workshop instructions and procedures
- Provide technical guidance to technicians on more complex repair work
- Performs other related duties as required by the team leader or supervisors
- Perform diagnostic procedures on all vehicle systems.
- Determine appropriate maintenance and repairs.
- Effectively use hand tools and automotive diagnostic equipment
Requirements:
- Valid Class 3 Driving License
- Minimum NTC 2/NITEC in Automotive Technology or equivalent with minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in car servicing
- Full-Time permanent Job role
