ASSISTANT SALON MANAGER

A-vinz (oc) Pte. Ltd.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the salon staff team in providing excellent services and maximizing salon profit.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the salon including opening and closing procedures, staff behavior and customer intake procedures.
  • Interview, hire and train salon staff in procedure, policy and health regulations.
  • Schedule staff to ensure adequate coverage for the salon's needs.
  • Resolve customer complaints and provide solutions to staff disputes.
  • Account for and report profits and expenses of the salon.
  • Prepare and maintain sales, inventory and customer reports.
  • Manage inventory salon products by maintaining records of stock quantities on hand and ordering replacement items.
  • Recommend hairstyle, colouring and treatment to customers
  • Perform a wide range of hair colouring techniques, including highlights, etc.
  • Analyse customer’s hair and scalp condition and recommend appropriate treatment or product
  • Perform hair services, including wash, blow-drying, waxing, styling, etc.
  • Ensure cleanliness of workstation and salon
  • Build up customer base, by converting prospects into long-term customers
  • Maintain a good relationship with clients.
  • Act as a expert on hair treatments, procedures, styling and technology and stay up to date on trends in the hair industry
  • Meeting individual sales targets and KPIs
  • Any other adhoc duties assigned by salon manager/district manager/ chief sales officer.


Qualifications/ Requirements:

  • Min. 1 years of related experience.
  • Extensive experience providing salon services to clients.
  • Advanced organizational skills to manage staff, operations and salon finances.
  • General bookkeeping and business finance skills.
  • Excellent communication and team-leading skills.
  • Detailed knowledge of the beauty industry and customer needs.
  • Interest and ability to continue learning about market standards and changes in trends.
  • Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time and move quickly to accomplish many tasks
