We have partnered with an established multinational company in the logistics space to look for a Regional Sales Manager. It's a great opportunity for someone to join a dynamic team in a position given autonomy and independence to grow business regionally venturing out in the space of time critical logistics solutions such as dealing with sales of ship spare parts logistics services.
Responsibilities:
- Execute business development activity to strategically grow the customer base through prospecting. Leverage a repeatable sales process to drive to closure.
- Develop new customers and create gross profit. Constantly seek for new leads and follow -up on leads for potential customers.
- Prepare, submit and follow-up on quotations.
- Conflict and dispute resolution: Handle customer complaints and disputes amicably with regards to service delivery etc.
- Follow a consultative approach in order to understand client’s needs and business challenges.
- Customer Relationship Management: Participate in customer relationship management activities to improve business relationship with customers to retain and increase sales activities.
- Conduct market research to understand industry dynamics for potential business.
- Participate in marketing events, trade shows and company events.
Requirements:
- Possess experience selling marine spare parts logistics solutions and other time critical logistics services in the Marine/Offshore space and Shipping
- Proven track record in developing new markets and verticals,
- Good commercial acumen and effective interpersonal skills.
