Job Responsibilities
1. Plans for special events and liaises with Marcom to provide input on marketing, including social media and other forms of publicity
2. Coordinates with Culinary, Catering Sales and other F&B Service Teams to ensure maximum productivity for the Bar
3. Selects and purchases liquor and other supplies in order to creates drinks & food menus
4. Reviews menu pricing based on market tread and cost factors
5. Maintains inventory & ensures Bar is well stocked and clean
6. Monitors beverage and food costs; ensures meeting budget and produces positive P&L
7. Responsible for Bar’s cleanliness and equipment in good working condition
8. Works with HR for all staff hires, training, promotion, grievance and disciplinary action.
9. Schedules staff /team duty roster and complies with hotel grooming standard and aligns with hotel core values
10. Responds to guest’s feedback promptly and seeks remedy action immediately
11. Initiates and maintains guests and vendors relationship
12. Reviews and updates Bar’s P&P regularly
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
- Diploma in F&B/Hospitality Management or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 3 years of similar experience in the hotel or free-standing restaurant and bar environment
- Accustomed to and comfortable with media exposure
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
- Highly organised with strong analytic and communication skills
- Oral and written fluency in English and an additional language
