Job Description
- Support the CEO in executing Company policies and management plans;
- Assess risks and work with CEO and directors to develop appropriate management plans to meet the long-term and short-term goals of the Company;
- Research on and maintain a deep knowledge and understanding of the markets and industry in the target countries;
- Coordinate with the local team, the group companies and various stakeholders;
- Report to parent company in Japan, and execute business strategies as required;
- Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements;
- Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets;
- Review business statistics and formulate appropriate measures to correct unsatisfactory performance and results;
- Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services;
- Any other duties, as required by the business needs of the Company
Job Requirements
- At least 15 years relevant experience in logistics/supply chain industry;
- Records of successful distribution and logistics management;
- Proficiency in standard logistics software;
- Strong ability to execute desired framework, policies and guidelines for the Company;
- High proficiency in Business level Japanese skill (both written and spoken) to report to parent company in Japan, and liaise with group companies and shareholders;
- Team player and ability to maintain positive working relationship with internal and external parties;
- Excellent commincation skills;
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and organisational skills;
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
