Maintenance Scheduler and Planner provides reactive planning for PM, CM activities i.e., developing efficient work plans (tasks, sequences, parts/materials, craft/manpower and resources) for PM/corrective maintenance plans and carry out schedule review of 30/90 days and issue soft week and hard week schedules, maintain effective loading and utilization of craft, coordinates maintenance work related activities for the equipment’s in plant.
Accountabilities:
1. Compliance to HSE standards and requirements of Cariflex and accountable for all assigned activities.
2. Able to support the project in pre-com and commissioning activities such as verifying site check and witness commissioning activities.
3. Generate spare parts list for the equipment’s and work with Cariflex IT team to transfer the list into BOM.
4. Knowledge of using symphony tool in SAP for scheduling maintenance activities.
5. Creating the task number group id for the PM/CM maintenance activity.
6. Drive high standard of personal accountability & performance to deliver the Site & Department goals and target.
7. Work with stakeholders to ensure the work task to be planned, scheduled, and performed.
8. Coordinate and engage Operations/ Gate keeper to ensure all job request are clear and concise and maintenance work orders are prioritized and challenged.
9. Carry out site checks & planning of work orders end to end process, by breaking down all relevant maintenance activities into logical tasks with resources, parts/material, craft/manpower and sequences for optimal work execution. Tasking of planned work orders to the relevant engineers/contractors for execution.
10. Responsible for material procurement and availability prior to execution of all PM/CM works.
11. Create and maintain library of plans for HSSE, corrective maintenance activities. Ensure that library plans contain reasonably accurate information on cost, materials, services labour, and other resource requirements. Actively monitor the actual work execution in terms of cost, resource, schedule (craft hours), sequence and update the equipment library plans accordingly. Accountable for ensuring that preventive/corrective maintenance compliance and timely closure of work orders.
12. Initiate HSE plans/Job Safety Analysis (JSA) for the planned work orders to ensure safe execution of work.
13. Ensure PM/CM plans are scheduled accordingly and executed before their due dates.
14. Accountable to ensure no overdue of all PM/CM works. This will include the necessary materials and services (resource) procurement and availability.
15. Actively monitor the actual work execution in terms of cost, resource, schedule (craft hours), sequence and update the equipment library plans accordingly. Accountable for ensuring that preventive maintenance compliance and timely closure of work orders.
16. Assist in budget planning based on past years cost trending. Plan, track, and cost accuracy, and provide inputs to improve contract strategy.
17. Contribute and participate actively in site reliability improvements. Provide feedback on effectiveness of corrective maintenance.
18. Use Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) in compliance with the global maintenance and business processes.
Qualification & Experience:
Degree/Diploma or equivalent, preferably in Mechanical Engineering.
At least 5-10 years relevant field experience as plant engineer or equivalent. Preferably with Mechanical Engineering background.
Relevant knowledge in: HSE Performance Management, Risk Management, Plant Operations, Reliability & Integrity, Process Technology, MOC Management, Cost/Budget, and RCA
