Summary of Responsibilities:
The main responsibilities and tasks of this position are as listed below, but not limited to these:
- Diligently execute and will be responsible for preparation of food, and assisting Head Chef.
- Maintain daily mis-en-place and prepare ingredients
- Inspect and clean food preparation areas, to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices
- Ensure the highest standards and consistent quality in the daily preparation
- Keep up to date with the new products, recipes and preparation techniques
- Have full knowledge of all menu items, daily highlights and promotions
- Adhere to recipes and stock management
- Highly responsible and reliable
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work cohesively with fellow team members as part of a team
- Able to work on weekends and public holidays (5-day roster)
