Responsibilities
- Assist with the production of monthly management accounts.
- Assist with the production of quarterly forecasts and annual budgets for relevant companies.
- Posting of monthly journals including accruals and prepayments.
- Provide variance analysis where required to forecast/budget with explanations.
- Meet group reporting deadlines.
- Monthly bank reconciliations.
- Completion of monthly balance sheet reconciliations (including intercompany accounts and transactions); flagging issues and communicating these.
- Continual focus on improving reporting and accounts production process.
- Management of the year-end process and assist in dealing with audit queries.
- Prepare flash sales figures (mid-month and end of month).
- Completion of local tax compliance documents (where applicable).
- Other ad hoc duties and projects as required.
- Support and cover Credit Control and Purchase Ledger when required.
Requirements:
- Min Diploma in Accountancy with 2 years
- Strong IT skills for communication and documentation (ie. Excel, Outlook)
