We are currently looking for a Senior IT Service Desk Specialist to join our Singapore team on a 12 month fixed term contract
What you'll be doing
The Specialist will be responsible for providing a high-quality level of customer service whilst assisting their colleagues globally with IT Support.
They will play an integral part in providing troubleshooting support and solutions to keep the business running smoothly.
The Singapore team operates on various shifts to ensure there is availability between 8am and 8pm (Monday to Friday).
Who you'll be working with
The successful individual will report in to the Head of IT Services (Cayman) and will work closely with the Service Desk Team Leader and two Service Desk Specialists who are all located in Singapore.
They will also collaborate and be supported by colleagues based globally within the IT Department.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all contact to the Service Desk is recorded in our ITSM tool and tickets are triaged appropriately
- Manage your queue to ensure that you remain organised, and colleagues being supported by you are kept informed on the progress of their ticket, assist team mates globally during off-peak times.
- Joiner, Mover and Leaver account administration
- Be on alert for service outages, degradations, or bugs that should be raised as a Problem ticket
- Contribution to the IT Knowledge Base with any updates to solutions or workarounds
- Providing communications to the business about any problems that may impact them
- Assisting the team lead with ad-hoc duties
