Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Assistant. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in warehouse operations, with a strong skillset in forklift operation, manual labor, logistics management, inventory management, documentation, communication, and interpersonal communication.
Responsibilities:
- Perform forklift operation to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse
- Assist with manual labor tasks such as packing, sorting, and organizing goods
- Manage logistics activities, including coordinating with suppliers and carriers for timely delivery and pick-up
- Ensure accurate inventory management by conducting regular stock checks and maintaining proper documentation
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
- Communicate effectively with team members and superiors to ensure smooth workflow and resolve any issues that may arise
- Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries
Requirements:
- Minimum qualification of secondary education or high school diploma
- 1-3 years of experience in warehouse operations
- Proficient in forklift operation and possess a valid forklift license
- Strong manual labor skills, with the ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Knowledge of logistics management and inventory control procedures
- Excellent documentation skills, with attention to detail
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus
