Job Description
1) Maintain inventory of laboratory chemicals
2) Prepare product samples
3) Carry out calibration and maintenance of testing equipment and housekeeping of the laboratories
4) Participate in investigation of product and process problem, customer complaint and any other quality related issue
5) To provide support to the Sales Department by providing Technical advice on the information and results to customer’s inquiry. To provide on-site technical service to customer with approval of the Department Head when required.
6) To follow up with customers on trial outcome and or provide technical advice together with sales personnel.
7) To ensure that Technicians carry out the task according to the TSR (Technical Service Request) form. To analysed and prepare the Technical Service Report where necessary.
8) To prepare TDS and SDS on newly developed products.
9) To assign the respective technician to prepare product samples in accordance to Sample Requisition (SR) Form.
10) To work with Technicians and sales colleagues to develop new grades to service different markets.
11) To maintain and participate in ISO9001 quality system and ISO14001 environment management systems and ISO45001.
12) To maintains safe and clean working laboratory environment.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Science/Chemistry
- Relevant working experience in laboratory
- Good organization and time management skills
- Able to work independently
- 3-5 years relevant experience
