- Position Title: Project Engineer (Oil & Gas / Petroleum / Chemical)
- Working Location: West – Bukit Batok
- Working Hours: 5 days (Mon-Fri: 8.30 am - 5.30 pm)
- Salary Package: Up to SGD 5000 + Performance Bonus
- Duration: Permanent
Key Responsibilities
- Overall responsible for the effective and efficient project execution to meet and/or exceed expected project performances such as timelines, budgets, scope, quality etc.
- Acting as principal technical liaison for the project, customer, subcontractors, and company.
- Reviewing project specifications and related documents.
- Ensuring good engineering standards and practices are implemented at all times. Implementing projects with best practices, codes/standards, tools, policies, procedures, templates, engineering solutions/designs and other shared documentation available in the engineering documentation archives.
- Ensuring focus on understanding customer’s needs and solving customer’s technical problems to improve customer satisfaction.
- Ensuring appropriate material buyout, engineering approach and methodology to maximize project profitability.
- Developing and completing Vendor Document Schedule (major engineering deliverables).
- Performing design and detail engineering. Preparing engineering documents and drawings according to Vendor Document Schedule.
- Managing engineering design, analysis, and drafting to effectively and efficiently deliver technical requirements for the project in accordance with the schedule requirements.
- Responsible for maintenance and disposition of quality NCR’s, spec. waivers etc.
- Coordinating with Document Controller to assure Company technical and document control processes are adhered to.
- Acting as principal interface with Project Manager for engineering deliverables and resources.
- Responsible for maintaining the engineering deliverables in line with the project schedule and cost objectives.
- Preparing Material Requisition specifications for selection and purchase of buyout items. Conducting Goods Receipt Inspection to verify quality and correctness of items delivered by sub-vendors.
- Coordinating with Production Control in fabrication/installation work supervision.
- Assisting Service personnel in the conduct of internal testing and FAT.
- Coordinating with Document Controller in the preparation of final and As-built documentation, Operation & Maintenance Manual and Manufacturer Data Records.
- Promoting and developing solution capabilities and application knowledge to support existing and future projects.

- Min. Diploma from Instrument/Electrical/Chemical Engineering or equivalent
- Min. 2 years of relevant working experience in a similar industry
- Knowledge of Oil & Gas, Petroleum or Chemical Industries would be preferred
- Take initiative and able to work under minimum supervision
- A good team player, able to communicate effectively at all levels
- Familiar with Microsoft Office with knowledge of AutoCAD will be an added advantage
