ACCOUNTANT

China Harbour (singapore) Engineering Company Pte. Ltd.

Job Descriptions:

  • Perform accurate of daily, monthly and yearly bankbooks, reconciliation and bank statement for all the bank accounts related to project bank accounts.
  • Perform accurate of data entry for project accounts to computerized accounting system (AR and AP) and general administrative duties related to project including documentation, filing, collectio ns, payments, etc.
  • Perform accurate of project monthly AP and AR aging reports, follow up the statement of accounts, include trade debtors & creditors aging reconciliations.
  • Monitor credit control and debt collection.
  • Perform accurate of project accounting billing, costing, revenue, account tracking and related reconcile journals.
  • Perform accurate of project misc. expenses and payment processing including staffs’ reimbursements, travelling costing and petty cash claims.
  • Monitor and keep track of procurement related project costing and expenses, and verify all the purchase documents related purchase orders.
  • Monitoring project accounts and conducting monthly and quarterly reviews.
  • Prepare and maintain fixed assets and right-ofuse (ROU) assets registers as well as schedules, monitor of fixed assets and ROU assets under project including written off and accumulated depreciation.
  • Prepare project supporting schedules, including monthend, and year-end closing.
  • Prepare project expense reporting for policy adherence and cost ing reduction proposals.
  • Support and assist in preparation of GST and BCA reporting.
  • Support and coordinate in all internal and external auditing a nd taxing related matters.
  • Other functions as necessary assist in the finance & commercial operations and management teams and basic on the necessary requirements.

Job Requirements:

  • Education Levels: Professional Certificate /NiTEC, Diploma, Advanced/Higher /Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree
  • Major/Studies: Accounting or Cost Management
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years
  • Knowledge /Fields: Work experienced in construction industry is an advantage, familiar with corporate financial reporting, taxation and reporting requirements
  • Skills/Abilities: PC literate, knowledge on the use of accounting softw are will be an advantage
  • Qualification certificate: As above education levels
