Job Description:We are looking for a passionate and experienced Coffee Shop Supervisor to lead our team and ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our coffee shop. The Coffee Shop Supervisor will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of quality and service that our customers have come to expect. This position offers an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about coffee, customer service, and team leadership.
Responsibilities:
1. Supervise Daily Operations: Oversee all aspects of daily coffee shop operations, including opening and closing procedures, staffing, and ensuring a clean and well-maintained environment.
2. Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of baristas and support staff. Provide guidance and training to ensure excellent customer service and product quality.
3. Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service by ensuring that all customers are greeted warmly, orders are accurate, and any concerns or issues are addressed promptly.
4. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and manage stock rotation to ensure product freshness. Keep accurate records of inventory.
5. Quality Control: Ensure that all beverages and food items meet our quality standards. Participate in the preparation of beverages and food as needed.
6. Compliance: Ensure that the coffee shop complies with all health and safety regulations, including food safety and hygiene standards.
7. Shift Scheduling: Create and manage employee schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours and maintain labor cost control.
8. Reporting: Prepare daily and weekly reports on sales, inventory, and staff performance for management review.
Qualifications:
· Proven experience in a supervisory role in a coffee shop or similar food and beverage establishment.
· Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and equipment.
· Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
· Ability to lead and motivate a team.
· Detail-oriented and capable of managing inventory and finances.
· Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
· Flexible schedule and ability to work weekends and holidays.
· High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in hospitality or related field is a plus.
· Able to work weekend and public holiday.
