Pupose
- To plan, execute, manage, control and issue the ICSS engineering deliverables and deliver the ICSS package of the assigned project within the defined technical requirements, schedule, cost and quality so as to deliver the project successfully.
- Work closely with the project lead I&C engineer to independently define critical deliverables, plan, manage, control, approve and deliver ICSS package for the assigned project effectively and efficiently according to specified technical requirements, timelines, and budget, manage project ICSS resources, and independently deal with and resolve all ICSS related technical issues of the project, and provide guidance to the assigned ICSS team.
Job Description
- Understand the ICSS design basis, project requirements including HSSE, scope, cost, schedule, quality requirements, client and class requirements and project execution philosophy.
- Plan, lead and manage ICSS team resources by identifying the work assignment for each team member in coordination with Project Lead I&C Engineer.
- Plan, lead and manage the ICSS deliverables as per project requirements.
- Direct and manage project work including issue of deliverables within schedule and quality.
- Provide technical expertise on solving system engineering problems, monitor and control the project work by closely communicating with the team.
- Identify improvement opportunities and innovative ideas.
- Guide the ICSS team on change management control, anticipate the technical issues and take preventive action to mitigate the risk.
- Closely coordinate with the team, project lead I&C engineer, inter-discipline communication, internal and external stake holders
Requirements
- Minimum requirement: Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation and control or equivalent qualification with 10 to 12 years of experience with the technical aspects of Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) projects.
- The ideal candidate must possess a robust understanding of ICSS systems coupled with an EPCI background.
- Proficiency in examining ICSS RFQ documents, along with the ability to formulate design input documents such as I/O lists, C&E, and Control Narratives, is essential.
- Certification in functional safety, expertise in both hardware and software aspects of ICSS engineering/FAT as an EPC ICSS package engineer, and the capability to scrutinize drawings from other disciplines/package vendors for ICSS-related interfaces are key qualifications.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is necessary, and basic experience with AutoCAD is preferred.
- Additionally, the candidate should have a solid grasp of cybersecurity concepts.
