Finance Manager

Job Purpose

  • Responsible for assisting in managing and running of finance activities of the Company and its subsidiaries, including but not limited to financial reviews, internal controls and processes, budgeting, treasury and statutory reporting.
  • Ensure proper reporting, monitoring of financial reporting and requirements, and value add to the operating processes and internal controls.

Accountabilities

  • Oversees preparation of financial reporting and filing requirements. Manage day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and tax.
  • Ensure effective internal controls in relation to financial reporting are in place, including enhancements to the accounting system, identify continuous improvement opportunities and be a driver of relevant change processes.
  • Manage group reporting procedures and policies, ensure group consolidation properly prepared.
  • Provide analysis to financial data and trends to provide insights into key performance indicators for business decision making.
  • Manage annual and periodic budgeting process for strategic planning.
  • Establishes and develops relations with senior management and external partners and stakeholders.
  • Manage and supervise finance team
  • IPO experience is not required but will be a plus

Key Performance Indicators

  • Work closely with business units and other departments.
  • Review company budget against actual.
  • Monitor cash flow for organization’s operations.
  • Ensure company is compliant with law and policies.
  • Ensure risk and compliance management framework is embedded and operational for the company.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting and finance or equivalent
  • Professional accounting qualification (CA/CPA)
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant finance experience
  • Good knowledge of Financial Reporting Standard
  • Strong in corporate reporting, analysis and meeting deadlines
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work with senior management, investors and external stakeholders
  • Willing to work hard and able to engage with staff at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
