Discovering the role

The role of the Purchasing and Logistics Coordinator entails maintaining a smooth and timely purchasing and delivery process to meet targeted schedules. They are responsible for coordinating customs clearance and logistics processes. Additionally, this position is accountable for effective documentation and file management.

Main Responsibilities

· Possess sourcing experience and demonstrate responsibility and responsiveness in a fast-paced environment.

· Procure products and equipment promptly to meet project and service requirements.

· Ensure timely delivery by following up with vendors on confirmed purchase orders, adhering to targeted schedules.

· Take responsibility for timely delivery to fulfill specific project needs.

· Manage purchasing information in the ERP system to ensure accurate and up-to-date data.

· Coordinate import and export processes, including customs clearance and logistics coordination.

· Oversee the faulty replacement process and warehouse operations.

· Maintain documentation and file management.

· Handle inventory management, including goods control, receipt, and delivery.

Requirements

· Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a relevant field.

· Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing and logistics coordination.

· Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.

· Demonstrate strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

· Exhibit effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with internal teams, suppliers, and logistics providers.
