The Luxury Conferences Events Director reporting to our General Manager in Singapore. He/She curates and ideate Tatler's signature events as well as our clients events. The role is of critical importance to Tatler Asia's plan to grow the business from the Tatler core, to Gen.T, to Tatler Dining sectors and beyond.



Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the MD and the regional experience team to plan and execute strategic events in driving sponsorship revenue to meet sales targets set for the events and coordinate of events across the region with the goal of driving business impact and brand recognition, ensuring healthy profitability for each event
  • Conceptualise, create and implement a range of events in various lifestyles to large scale business and lifestyle events
  • Identify and develop new innovative event ideas and assess new event opportunities
  • Ensuring parity of execution quality on brand events
  • Create proposals to pitch to clients and sponsors independently
  • Build, manage and track all the budget and expenses to ensure profitability
  • Lead an events team and resolve escalations as needed
  • Providing guidance and support to regions on brand events
  • Develop and implement marketing communications and publicity plans in support of events
  • Manage vendors and supervise the whole production process to ensure delivery of high-quality and timely work, negotiation of best pricing from vendors and suppliers


Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in events management, from ideation to execution
  • Proven track records in events organization and delivery of high-quality events
  • Problem solver with strong ability to prioritise multiple projects on tight timelines
  • Capable to work independently as part of a team and as a leader
  • Excellent communication, project and time management skills
  • Good relationship with local PR agency is preferred
  • Good knowledge of event vendors and venues across Singapore is an added advantage
