My client is a MNC in Singapore is hiring a Mechanical Engineering Manager to join them.
Responsibilities:
- Comprehend client needs and specifications.
- Create preliminary studies to formulate budgetary proposals.
- Evaluate and implement value engineering techniques during the tendering phase.
- Collaborate with the tender team to establish essential criteria, ensuring alignment with client requirements and accurate project cost estimation.
- Engage in discussions with clients concerning design-related aspects.
- Identify, assess, and proactively manage design-related risks.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, sustainable construction standards, and industry best practices in all design work.
- Assume leadership of the design team when necessary.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for internal staff on system design.
Requirements:
- Master/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, at least 5 years as managerial roles.
- Extensive experience in design and technical skills; familiar with design software like AutoCad, Revit, etc.
- Must have experience in HVAC, and Piping
- Work at Height Managers Course & Construction Safety Course Certified
- Experience in project management with good leadership.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
