The University Scholars Programme (NTU-USP) leads a University-wide commitment to provide an intellectually stimulating and enriching academic environment for the best students of NTU. The programme focuses nurturing creative and reflective global citizens devoted to understanding our ever-changing world.
This role primarily supports curriculum, admissions and special projects related administrative matters.
Responsibilities:
Admissions Matters
- Coordinate admissions interview
- Provide applicants with information about admission process
- Guide applicants through the application and acceptance process
- Assist in admissions events and campus tours
- Update and maintain a database of students’ information
- Conduct admissions surveys
Students Professional Development
- Assist in planning and organizing professional development events, workshops, and seminars
- Coordinate logistics, including venue booking, catering, and materials preparation
- Manage email communications, newsletters, and social media updates related to upcoming events
- Handle the registration process for events, ensuring accurate participant information
- Maintain databases or spreadsheets to track student participation and feedback
Outreach and Alumni Support
- Assist in planning and organizing outreach events, alumni reunions, and networking sessions
- Coordinate logistics, including venue selection, catering, invitations, and day-of-event support
- Contribute to the creation of promotional materials for outreach and alumni events
- Assist in managing social media accounts and other communication channels to promote events and engage alumni
- Help maintain an updated database of alumni contacts and outreach activities.
- Assist in collecting and analyzing feedback from alumni events to assess the impact and identify areas for improvement
Special Projects
- Coordinate of logistics, including venue booking, accommodation, transportation, and catering, ensures a seamless and well-organised events
- Maintain accurate records, capture key insights, outcomes and participant feedback
- Assist in managing the budget
Finance/Procurement
- Assist with purchases in accordance with NTU procurement policies and guidelines
Other General Administration
- Establish SOPs for each area of work and review processes for efficacy.
- Assist with travel arrangements for faculty on official business
- Setup and manages logistics for meetings with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements:
- Diploma with 2-3 years of experience, or a fresh graduate are welcome to apply.
- Relevant working experience in education sector will be advantageous.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office suite, and online productivity tools.
- Strong planning, organisational and problem-solving skills
- Independent and possess strong multi-tasking abilities
- Meticulous and attentive to details
