Location: Tampines
Working Hours: Mon – Fri, 9am to 6pm
Responsibilities:
- Produce and maintain technical documentation, including Schematic Design, Cable Harness Drawing, Wiring Diagram, Power Diagram, Bill of Materials (BOM), and PCB Layout for assembly and fabrication.
- Design, develop and test electrical systems for robotic applications.
- Work with software developers, engineers and technicians to integrate electrical systems with software and mechanical components.
- Generate and implement control systems for robots, including motion control, sensors, safety system and actuators.
- Develop and implement power management systems for robotic applications, including power distribution, battery management, and charging systems.
- Develop safety evaluation, risk assessment, and testing methodology based on international standards.
- Ensure compliance with CE, UL, safety standard and relevant regulatory for developing robotics electrical systems.
- Support troubleshooting of current market Automate Guided Vehicles (AGV).
Requirements
- Degree in Triple E - Electrical/Electronic Engineering
- Min. 4-5 years of experience in Robotics field, including development and testing etc.
- Experience in Circuits Drawing Software, schematics and PCB Design tools like E-Plan.
- Hands-on experience with crimping, soldering and wiring for power and signal cables.
- Experience with Lithium-Ion battery technology, i.e., maintain and troubleshoot fault for such batteries.
- Experience with regulatory and safety standards for electrical systems in robotics according to IEC/EN standards.
- Knowledgeable on electrical and electronic systems, including control systems, power management systems, CAN BUS, Serial RS232, Ethernet, UART protocol, sensors, and safety relays.
