- Accurately recording customers' measurements, instructions, and preferences.

- Altering garments to improve comfort and fit includes shortening sleeves or straps, narrowing lapels, and taking in or letting out seams.
- Constructing garments for customers based on their design ideas, specifications, and preferences.
- able to stitch saree blouses, salwar kameez suits, and other traditional Indian garments. Able to take communicate with customers about design and take measurements.
- Must be able to work independently to cut and sew the garment from start to finish.
