Contract Period: From 1 March 2024 to 28 February 2025
Option to Extend: the Contract for a further period of 1 year starting 1 March 2025
Working hours:
· Mondays to Thursdays: 8:30am to 6:00pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
· Fridays: 9.00am to 6.00pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
· Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
Scope of services:
1) Providing good frontline customer service – including handling enquiries (calls or in-person) and rendering assistance to students and staff;
2) Management and compilation of data and drafting of simple correspondences;
3) Collection and verification of documents;
4) General office administrative duties & ad-hoc logistics and operational support;
5) Other general duties or projects assigned by the school.
Qualification, Experience:
1. 21 years and above preferred, and should be responsible, mobile and mature;
2. Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident;
3. Possess at least one of the following qualifications:
a. Certificate in Office Skills / Nitec in Office Skills / Nitec in Service Skills (Office) / Certificate in Business Studies (Accounting) / Higher Nitec in Accounting / Higher Nitec in Business Administration / Higher Nitec in Business - Information Technology / Higher Nitec in Business Studies (Administration) / Certificate in Business Studies (Secretarial Practice); or
b. 3 or more GCE ‘O’ Level passes including English or Mathematics or the equivalent of ESS Career Readiness Certificate (Operations); or
c. 3 or more GCE ‘N’ Level passes including at least a P3 in English and Mathematics or the equivalent of ESS Workplace Literacy and Numeracy (WPLN) Level 5
4. Good communication skills and positive work attitude;
5. At least 2 years of relevant work experience in frontline customer service, general administration, preferably in a school setting.
6. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and comfortable with using IT systems; and
Knowledge of basic first-aid will be useful.
