Job Summary
The Podiatrist Clinic Operations Manager is responsible for the efficient and effective management of all clinic operations with a primary focus on customer management. This role involves overseeing administrative staff, implementing and optimizing clinical sterilization processes, podiatry clinic procurement, data upkeep, and ensuring a positive patient experience from appointment scheduling to post-visit follow-up.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Integration
- Create a smooth transition for the new podiatry unit at UFIT-integrating into the existing UFIT processes and systems, and maximizing collaboration with UFIT staff members.
- Identifying opportunities for efficiencies in the UFIT processes as they are introduced into the podiatry system.
Patient Experience Management
- Ensure that every patient has a seamless and positive experience from the moment they schedule an appointment to their post-visit follow-up.
- Implement strategies to ehnance patient engagement and loyalty.
Staff Supervision
- Oversee and provide guidance to adminstrative and front desk staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure all clinical equipment is well maintained and sterlised in a timely fashion.
- Foster a collaborative and customer-focused work environment.
Process Improvement
- Continuously evaluate and optimize clinic processes to enhance efficiency and patient satisfaction.
- Implement best pratices for appointment scheduling, billing, insurance verification, and patient communication.
Financial Management
- Monitor and report on key financial metrics daily
Vendor and Inventory Management
- Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure the clinic has necessary supplies and equipment -particularly in relation to insoles
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience in healthcare or clinic management, with a focus on customer management
- Knowledge of podiatry practices and terminology is a plus
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skiils
- Proficient in healthcare softward and technology
- Understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance
