KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support installation and implementation of smart metering devices
- Support site survey and commissioning of energy meters and solar datalogging
- Assist in maintenance and upgrading of energy meters and devices firmware
- Follow up on issues regarding smart metering and solar datalogging
- Pre-configuration of EMI (Environmental Monitoring Instruments) and Smart Logger
- Vetting meter & inverter reading after site is 100% online
- Maintain record of IP address/Modbus ID & protocol of device used on site
- Contacting relevant contractors for different issues
- Track and update contractors targeted date & completion date
- Check the result of contractors’ troubleshooting
- Consolidation of monitoring & billing data for month-end closing preparation
- Assist in design of Electrical systems for energy meter or IoT products
- Assist on new site onboarding and conduct User Acceptance Test (UAT) for Solar OS
- Feedback Other tasks as required
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Diploma / ITE grad in Electrical Engineering, IT, Communications, or any related discipline
- Able to read and understand Network Architecture, Energy System, and Single Line Diagram (SLD)
- Strong knowledge of basic networking, RF communication
- Able to analyze and diagnose faults on smart metering devices.
- Able to perform system test and operate test equipment
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES & PREFERRED CHARACTERISTICS
- Proactive, positive and self-motivated with ability to work without close supervision
- Driving license preferred to meet site requirement
