Essential Responsibilities :
- Responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, servicing and maintaining machinery, equipment, systems both mechanically and electrically.
- Responsible for ensuring machinery and equipment runs smoothly and reliably.
- Ability to perform preventive and predictive technical preventive maintenance is necessary.
- Maintain a proper machinery asset register to keep track of asset holdings.
- To monitor and control maintenance costs, track the costs of labor, supplies, and equipment repairs.
- Ensure unplanned problems, breakdowns and emergencies are dealt with immediately and their root causes are determined.
- Works to maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed; completes tasks in a timely manner.
- Liaise with OEM, external vendor, operation executives on equipment repair status.
- Adhere to EHS compliance.
Qualifications/Requirements :
- Minimum ITE Higher NITEC/NTC2 in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Hands-on mechanical and electrical repair and troubleshooting experience is a must.
- Basic computer skills such as use of Excel, Words and other Microsoft Office tools.
- Preferably class 3 driving license.
- Preferably able to read and understand electrical diagrams and mechanical drawings.
