Responsibilities:
Assist on the administration of property tax matters for the various retail malls managed by the Company including but not limited to the following:
- Generation and checking of tenancy schedules for accuracy against rental information database for submission to the Chief Assessor (CA)’s Office for property tax assessment.
- Perform the computation and verification of Desired Annual Values in property tax analysis reports prepared by external property tax consultants and prepare internal recommendation paper to management for filing of objections/appeals where applicable.
- Compile and prepare accrual reports for consultancy fee payable to property tax consultants based on potential tax savings obtainable from objections/appeals and the submission to Finance Department thereafter.
- Assist to keep track on outstanding objection and appeal cases and follow-up with property tax consultants.
- Maintain and update the Annual Values of each individual unit in the retail malls.
- Sorting and filing of various property tax notices received from the CA and disseminate to the various parties as required.
- Liaise and co-ordinate with the centre management personnel in the various retail malls for information & documents requested by the property tax consultants/CA’s office.
- Assist in other administrative functions relating to property tax.

- Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 6pm
Requirements:
- Must possess at least a Higher secondary/Pre-U/A level/College, Professional Certificate/NiTEC or Diploma in any field, but preferably in retail or real estate
- Meticulous and accurate with numbers with strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet timelines
- Self motivated with the ability to work independently
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (MS Word / Excel)
- Experience with SAP Real Estate module would be an added advantage
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Have a high degree of integrity
- Relevant experience in real estate industry an advantage
