Accounts Assistant

  • Verify daily sales record and bank in of sales proceeds
  • Update cash book transaction
  • Assist with monthly stock-take, month-end and year-end closing
  • Check and process payments to suppliers, petty cash claims and reimbursements.
  • Liaise with internal and external parties on invoices and payment
  • Check and update inventory schedule
  • Responsible for maintenance of photocopier and ordering of stationery
  • Ensure proper recording of entries and maintain a good filing system
  • Perform any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Certificate in Accounting with at least 1-2 years of similar working experience in F&B/FMCG/Retail industry.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Proficient in MS Office and MYOB Accounting Software.
  • Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Meticulous with an eye for details to ensure high accuracy and able to work with tight deadline
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
