We are currently seeking a talented and dedicated Mutual Funds Operations Associate to join a leading financial services organization. As a member of the Global Funds Operations Team, you will play a crucial role in providing operational support and exceptional customer service to the APAC-based mutual funds clients.
Responsibilities:
Operational Activities
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of daily investment funds operational activities, including income, transfer, order routing, and outgoing payments
- Perform regular checks and reconciliations with transfer agents on trades placed
- Complete necessary documentation required by transfer agents
- Collaborate closely with the team to ensure efficient operations
- Contribute to process improvements and projects to enhance operational efficiency
Customer Services
- Provide outstanding support to clients for mutual funds and related services within the IFS Client Services team
- Investigate, monitor, record, and resolve queries and issues raised by clients via phone calls and emails
- Participate in service review and escalation calls as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification preferred; candidates with relevant professional experience will also be considered
- For associate level: 1-3 years of working experience in a similar role or relevant field
- For AVP level: 5 - 7 years of working experience in a similar role or relevant field
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, balancing operational activities with customer service responsibilities
- Strong ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Proactive attitude with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an international team environment
- Customer-oriented mindset with exceptional telephone, communication, and negotiation skills
- Willingness to work on an early shift to support the Australian market if required
