Responsibilities
- Manage day to day construction project contract administration
- Assist in verifying subcontractor claims, settle contractual disputes and finalization of accounts
- Quantify and prepare variation orders and claims (including but not limit to monthly progress claims, loss and expense claims and schedule extension claims)
- Study, plan and prepare project programmes
- Manage and prepare project correspondences and communication with customers and subcontractors
- Study project contracts and advise on rights, liabilities and risks in connection with project contracts
- Attend project meetings with customers and subcontractors
- Provide measurement, cost evaluation and quotation support for projects
- Assist in preparing cost budget, track changes in design/construction work and adjust budget projections accordingly
- Any other duties to be assigned from time to time
Pre-requisites
- Degree / Diploma in Quantity Surveying/ Construction Management/ Contract Law
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in a similar role
- Candidate may be required to be stationed at project site
- Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills
- Meticulous, proactive, resourceful, independent and a good team player
