We are seeking a detail-oriented, resourceful and self-driven Finance Intern to join our Finance Team execute our finance and accounting processes while promoting our social and environmental values.


As our Finance Intern, you will work closely with our team and assist in a variety of projects whereby you will take ownership of the planning and/or implementation, enabling you to experience working with professionals from across departments and geographies.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparation and execution of finance and accounting processes
  • Assist in the preparation and providing the supporting analysis, engagement, and results of the region, business unit and function level on a scheduled basis
  • Assists and support projects and initiatives in the region
  • Identifies areas for improvement in data tracking, metrics, and intelligence gathering
  • Perform investigation into anomalies and trends, derive insights and present outputs and recommendations
  • Work with internal data source providers to ensure that data is accurate, automated and timely available
  • Utilize multiple data sets and sources to design and develop metrics, reports and dashboards to provide financial overview
  • Ability to think creatively and provide solutions for process efficiency improvement


Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a Diploma in Accounting or related study
  • Knowledge of basic accounting and financial principles
  • Skilled in the use of MS Excel, standard office applications to perform and present data analysis
  • Attention to detail, and demonstrates critical thinking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative problem-solving abilities
