Segment Sales & Technical Head

Sarika Gourmet Coffee Co. (s) Pte Ltd

We are seeking a passionate and experienced professional with demonstrable experience in coffee or tea industry to join our team and lead sales and technical team in the food service segment.


Reporting to the General Manager who is based in Singapore, the Segment head will play a pivotal role in driving the overall success and profitablility of our food service segment. You will be responsible for in driving sales, managing key accounts, and ensuring customer satisfaction within the food service segment. This incudes managing a small sales and technical team.


This role requires a strong understanding of the distribution within HORECA channel, as well as the ability to lead and accelerate the growth of our distribution business.


Business Development

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy for the food service segment, in alignment with the company's overall goals.
  • Continuously identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships and potential market segments to expand our market presence.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to enhance business partnerships.

Sales and Marketing

  • Lead the sales team to drive revenue growth and increase market share.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies, pricing models to attract and retain customers.
  • Review all tenders before submission to General Manager for approval.

Technical Team Improvement

  • Redefine and optimize the servicing process to enhance efficiency, reduce downtime, and improve response times for customer inquiries and repairs.
  • Implement preventive maintenance schedules and standard operating procedures to ensure machine longevity and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide planning and forecasting of labour, spare parts to ensure optimise function of the after-sales team.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline communication channels and improve overall service coordination.

After-Sales Support

  • Ensure prompt and effective after-sales support, including troubleshooting, repairs and technical assistance for customers and partners.
  • Oversee spare parts inventory, manage suppliers, and maintain adequate stock levels to minimize delays in repairs.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the technical team, assisting in complex machine repairs and diagnostics.
  • Establish a robust feedback loop to capture customer concerns and insights for continuous service improvement.


Your strategic thinking, leadership skills, and deep understanding of HORECA segment will be crucial in achieving our ambitious growth targets and therefore, you are required to have the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience with at least 5+ years in a senior manager within the coffee industry or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of the coffee market in Singapore, including trends, consumer behaviour.
  • Demonstrated sucess in business development, sales and strategic planning with ability to work in a fast-paced enviornment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and budget management.
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
