Key Responsibilities
Sales and Business Development:
• Identify and pursue new or existing business opportunities within the marine industry.
• Establish and maintain robust connections with current clients to ensure customer retention and satisfaction.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet revenue targets.
Technical Support and Service:
• Offer technical support to clients, addressing inquiries, and suggesting solutions to meet their specific needs.
• Collaborate with the technical team or third parties to ensure the timely and efficient resolution of customer issues.
• Manage the entire process of addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues.
• Supervise the execution of marine service projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to deliver high-quality service to clients.
Documentation and Reporting:
• Keep accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and project details.
• Ensure the generation of service reports in accordance with services rendered on board vessels or in workshops.
• Ensure service reports and other relevant documentation are endorsed by the end client to their satisfaction.
• Prepare regular reports for management on sales performance and service delivery.
Qualifications:
• Preferably hold a Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Demonstrate proven experience in sales/service within the marine industry, with a strong understanding of marine products and services.
• Possess technical knowledge and proficiency in marine engineering concepts.
• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Display the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Express a willingness to work/attend calls outside normal working hours.
