- Greets and interacts with customers.
- Consults with customers to understand their needs and preferences related to merchandise.
- Demonstrates and explains merchandise, selecting and suggesting options suitable for the customer’s needs.
- Answers customer’s questions about merchandise.
- Retrieves merchandise from sales floor, stock room, or other inventory locations, places special orders.
- Collects payment using the store point of sale system.
- Processes returns and exchanges.
- Stock checking and forecasting:
- Participates in purchasing process, negotiation, and product selection:
- Plays an active role in market assessment and new product selection based on identified market needs and opportunities
- Regularly negotiate with purchasing team in order to get the best offers and maximize both MTIA margin and price competitiveness in the market
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout the retail space.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Excellent sales and customer service skills.
- Extensive knowledge of the merchandise sold.
- Ability to recommend merchandise to customers.
- Able to adapt in fast-paced and demanding environment, is flexible with working hours
- Analytical, team organization & planning skills
- Ability to operate or to quickly learn the store’s point-of-sale system
- On-the-job training provided
- Working hour & Day - 10am to 7pm & Tuesday to Sunday
