RESPONSIBILITIES

The incumbent will help maintain and expand the network with community partners, corporates, and other social and community services to support the organization’s needs. Spearhead, conceptualize, and implement volunteer programs/activities to ensure the delivery of quality service will meet the needs of the residents in a nursing home.

Your role & responsibilities will include: 

  • Volunteer Management
    • Managing all elements of volunteering within the organization
    • Recruitment of volunteers
    • Track and update records and maintain a database of volunteers and partners to ensure critical information is captured for timely submission
  • Identify ways to sustain and improve partnered initiatives to build relationships to support the department’s needs
  • Able to develop and maintain networks and partnerships with various community partners
  • Monitor, evaluate, and accredit volunteers
  • Plan, organize, and roll out activities and programs accordingly to support resident’s social needs
  • Provide support in any other tasks as assigned

May be required to work on Saturdays whenever required

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Degree or Advanced Diploma in Social Work, Gerontology, or Service Sector disciplines
  • Minimum 2 years experience in community healthcare settings in Singapore
  • Hands-on experience in a community partnership role
  • Good knowledge of the geriatrics and community services
  • Sales Experience will be useful and welcome
  • People-oriented, willing to work on the ground, and a passion to serve
  • Ability to work with all levels and good people skills with a go-getter attitude.
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Resourceful in problem-solving and resilient in overcoming challenges
  • Able to effectively work under tight deadlines and possess strong projects/events management skills
  • Proficient in Google Workspace applications - Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Docs/Sheets/Slides, Google Drive
