You will play a part in creating a collaborative and rewarding culture within StashAway through contributing to key areas such as community & employee management, recruitment & employer branding, learning & development, and employee engagement. You will work closely with your colleagues in the People & Culture department and other internal stakeholders to continuously make StashAway the best place to work through facilitating meaningful relationships, crafting enriching experiences for employees, and attracting the best talent for StashAway in a scalable manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement meaningful internal company events ranging from large and less frequent ones (e.g. annual off-sites) to smaller and more frequent ones (e.g. individual and team milestone celebrations).
  • Create a welcoming and collaborative environment for employees to thrive as individuals and as a team.
    • Ensure that the office space is fully operational and processes are running smoothly.
    • Manage office inventory and prepare employee swags.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to develop a culture of learning and continuous feedback by engaging employees with various programmes, tools, and experiences.
  • Data collection and monitoring of P&C analytics.
    • Gather compensation information from the internal application tracking system to aid in the yearly compensation review.
    • Consolidate accurate information for internal and external stakeholders for reporting, payroll, and taxation purposes.
  • Maintain employee records and information in an organized manner to ensure accuracy and ease of access by relevant stakeholders.
    • Generate employee letters and documents as requested by the employees.
  • Coordinate with various departments, employees, and new joiners on on-boarding and off-boarding processes (e.g. orientation sessions, first-day schedules, background checks, and work equipment issuance).
  • Currently pursuing a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Business Management, or equivalent.
  • Able to join from January 2024 onwards and can commit 4-6 months full-time internship
  • Well-organized with a strong attention to detail and high standards for quality work.
  • Handles confidential and sensitive information with care and discretion.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Works independently with limited guidance and handles simultaneous tasks effectively.
  • Maintains professionalism under pressure and is willing to tackle challenges optimistically.
  • Team-oriented and takes the initiative to strive for excellence at work.
  • Positive attitude towards change and process improvements.
  • Eager to learn and work in a diverse environment.
