Job Description – Finance Manager

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will
· Responsible for the finance function and financial books of the subsidiaries assigned
· Provide effective management, supervision and approvals, ensuring financial and tax accounting, financial services, closing and reporting activities are performed in an accurate, timely, and compliant manner.
· Prepare and present periodic financial statements, budgets and financial reports to the management team and key stakeholders
· Review of the related companies accounts, reporting, intercompany transactions and payments
· Manage working capital, funding and treasury matters to ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs
· Conduct regular financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and business planning, and provide recommendations to improve profitability and efficiency.
· Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations and strengthen internal controls.
· Responsible for the preparation of tax returns and compliance with tax regulations.
· Oversee the annual external audit cycle of the Group and ensure that all statutory requirements are timely met
· Be the liaison with auditors, tax agents, bankers and corporate secretarial agent
· Manage the payroll and incentive functions of the company, including computing or checking of internal and contract staff payroll and incentives, all CPF and IR8A related matters and submissions;
· Ad-hoc duties/projects as assigned from time to time
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy with Professional Accreditation (CA/CPA)
- Min 8 years of experience, with a good mix of commercial accounting, audit experience from CPA firms and at least 2 years in a manager role
- Good technical knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, transfer pricing and statutory requirements
- Experienced and with a track record of successful process transformation implementation.
- Experienced in ERP YonYou advantageous
- Independent, adaptable and able to work in a dynamic environment
- Mandarin proficiency is necessary for effective communication with counterparts in regions such as China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, etc.
