MOTOR CAR MECHANIC Supervisor
Specialized in GEAR BOX
Performs routine and preventive maintenance including tune-ups. Performs tests on specific parts and systems to ensure proper function. Identifies mechanical problems either visually or with computer diagnostic equipment. Examines critical parts and systems using a standard checklist.
- Carry out Supervised motor vehicle inspection and diagnosis
- Responsible for supervising repairs, overhaul, servicing works, and replacements of components/parts
- Check and solve customers’ car problems.
- Handle customer queries and requests walk in and over the phone
- Check and solve customers’ car problems.
- Find out price from supplier, prepare quotation for customer
- Perform preparation works and vehicle
- Sand down, cleaning of vehicle, preparing auto parts and other car components
- Maintain consistent high-quality work performance
- Maintain cleanliness of workshop and to follow quality requirements
- Ensure personal safety at the workstation
- Other related duties assigned by the superior
Requirements and skills
- Proven experience Mechanic supervise in Gear Box specialist
- Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of vehicles
- Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods
- Ability to handle various tools (e.g. pliers) and heavy equipment (e.g. lift)
- Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protection against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals, etc.
- Excellent physical condition
