We are looking for a suitable candidate on a short term assignment (3-6 months) to work with reputable main contracor.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the technical aspects of a particular assigned job to achieve a correct, complete and coordinated design deliverables (i.e. calculations, drawings, specifications, reports, etc);
- Assists Senior / Lead Engineer in achieving project completion within budget and on schedule;
- To plan, monitor and track the day-to-day engineering activities and contractor’s site progress;
- Prepares and maintain Project job file, data books, drawings/specification lists, lists of required design data and design change notices;
- Prepares Equipment specifications and update data sheets;
- Prepares material requisitions and float for enquiry;
- Assists in compilation of vendors’ bids and technical clarifications;
- Assists in review of vendor’s calculation and vendor prints.
- Assists in any site support activities as needed;
- Ad hoc duties as determined by management.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Mechanical) or related fields or diploma holders with additional 2-3 years’ experience unless equated with professional certifications
- Design and construction experience in Petrochemical, Refinery or Chemical industry
- Relevant Mechanical Equipment design experience
- Willing to travel, if required
